There are many scholarships out there that are primarily meant to be grabbed by young journalists and the Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships is one of those scholarships.
Are you aware that Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships is currently receiving applications for the 2018 session? This Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships is open for all young journalists who are nationals of any developing country or North-Rhine-Westphalia.
The primary purpose of this Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships is to help build and develop junior journalists professionally. This is to enhance the professional skills and knowledge of young journalists who are from developing countries or North-Rhine-Westphalia. This scholarship covers all their expenses throughout the training period which lasts between 6 weeks to 3 months.
Scholarship Course Level: The Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships is currently open to all young journalists from developing countries and or North-Rhine-Westphalia.
ScholarshipApplicationDeadline: the scholarship application deadline for theHeinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships is 30th November 2017. After this date, applications in regards to this scholarship will no longer be considered by the board offering the scholarship award.
Host Country/Institution: The Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships is a privately funded scholarship and will be taken in Germany.
EligibleCountries: Only junior journalists from any developing country and North-Rhine-Westphaliaare qualified to apply for thisHeinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships.
ScholarshipWorth: The Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships covers the training fees and living expenses of each scholars. Flight and travelling fees are also paid for by the scholarship providers via this scholarship program. The research material fees are also covered by the Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships. A stipend is given to scholars to cover for trips within the host country.
Foreign scholars will be sponsored to go learn German language for a period of four month via or Bonn based Goethe-Institute or Düsseldorf.

Applicant’s Eligibility:Young journalists applying for the Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships and are citizens of North-Rhine-Westphaliaor any developing country are considered eligible for a Heinz-Kühn-Foundation Scholarships if they meet the following criteria
- Applicants must not be older than 35 years of age as at the time of being granted the admission.
- Applicants must show keen interest in development matters.
- Applicants must have a good command of the language of their host country. Foreign students must have basic knowledge of the German language.
- Applicants must have gained some amount of professional experience in the field of journalism.

Applicants who meet the selection criteria are expected to contact the foundation to plan their host country and their subjects of importance.
Application for this scholarship must be received by the foundation by 30th November 2017 for the course starting 2018.
