The 2018 Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships (AES) is currently open for all students outside Europe who are outstandingly talented and are eligible to enroll for a Master’s Degree Program.

The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarshipsdeadline is January 15th 2018.



This student grant is open for students who are qualified to enroll for a Master’s degree program.



The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships will be taken at the campus of Amsterdam University, Netherlands.

What are the scholarship benefits?

As a scholar of the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships, an amount summing up to €25,000. This student grant will cover for tuition fees and living expenses.



The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships will cover scholars for a period of one year. It can be extended to another year if the program is a two years course.



  • Non-European students may apply for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships.
  • Students who are among the top 10% best in their grad class may apply for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships.
  • The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievements and relevance of the master’s course to the future of the scholar.


How Do I Apply?

All applications for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships will be made through the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. There are specific selection criteria, eligibility requirements and application procedures for each master’s course.
